I recently went through my stuff of which I have loads btw and decided a little clear out was needed.
Clothes, ufc dvds and gaming stuff all went up onto ebay.
As I went through my gaming stuff, even though I am a massive privateer press fanboy I decided I didn't really require the faction dice that I own. With them being out of print I knew they were desirable and would get me a decent price.
What I didn't expect though was for my Khador dice to go for £62. More cash than a battle engine retails for, for 10 dice in a tin!!! Mental!

The Beginning
Hey there interwebs,
I have decided to start my own blog to track my progress of my miniature painting and gaming.
For those who don't know me, I am very skilled at buying miniatures and not so skilled at actually getting them finished which is a big problem considering how expensive the hobby is.
I started gaming 22 years ago when a friend of mine bought the mk6 beakie space marine plastic box set and thought they looked cool. Not long after that I owned 36 plastic imperial guard and that was me set down the slippery path. Played workshop games throughout my teens with blood bowl being my favourite.
I find that at some point during your teenage years you discover sex and booze and being a teenager with rampant hormones this becomes the focus of all things and gaming gets forgotten about entirely. Well I took the slightly less trodden path and didn't let the above completely destroy my love of gaming and basically never stopped though I did play less.
When I hit my 20's I discovered card gaming. This was very attractive to me as I really enjoyed the games but didn't have to put as much effort into getting my deck sorted as I had with my armies/gangs/teams etc. I played magic, pokemon, 7th sea, raw deal, magi-nation, wcw nitro, highlander, deadlands, ufs and I'm sure I dabbled in a few others that I can't remember.
Unknowingly at the time this was setting me up for what has become my main game for the last 7/8 years. Warmachine. My mate Andy is the grand master of finding games that you probably haven't heard of yet and introducing them to you. At that time Gen Con was coming up and he asked if I had heard of this game, I hadn't! To the internet we went and he showed me the cygnar and menoth starter sets and the defender/vanquisher models. They were selling these figures at Gen Con but also over the net and if you bought these introductory sets they would send you the rulebook free once it was printed, I was interested to say the least. After looking about there fledgling website I discovered Mike McVey was involved and coming from my workshop time felt his name added a lot of weight to this company. I bought the menoth figures and the rest is history.
